Lisa
Frank and I don't have a very good track record of making these things, but I will try to drag him out. I can guarantee you that everyone will love that restaurant. It’s just half mile from work, so I have dined there a number of times, and it is always excellent. Very conveniently located as well… Rt.15/ 80. Great choice!

Let's see,

Fighting for my life in the Excavation world, One day you make a grand then the next you spend $1200.00 on hydraulic hoses and oil. The oil is $90.00 for a 5 gal. bucket. Oh and by the way you can go thru it like a 12oz. can of Coors light. Not that I would know how fast that can be. Otherwise enjoying being a sort of productive member of society.

Oldest daughter is at Baylor studying to try to get in Nursing. For those who don't know that is in Waco, Which stands for "We Ain't Coming Out" ( Apologies to David Koresh).

I am currently on the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District Board and because there is nothing on TV, I am trying to get on the local Emergency Services District Board. I'll let you know how that little adventure goes.

HI folks,
Just wanted to thank everyone who came out on Saturday night. Despite the little restaurant incident, I had a really good time. I could have had a nice time with all of you just standing around in the parking lot. I hope there will be a next time...and we can do it again...before too long.
Mary Grace, How did it happen that I barely got to chat with you? Next time I am coming directly to Hopatcong!
...and I give Mary's Jim a huge thumbs up for fitting in so perfectly...an honorary classmate!
Tom and Elmer...thanks for bringing the delicious grape juice!
Stay well everyone and enjoy Thanksgiving...At the risk of sounding corny, I consider all of you among my blessings.
Love, Lisa

Hi Everybody!
Haven't been on the site in way too long. I miss you all; it was so nice to read your messages. Any possibility of a post-holiday get together? Maybe sometime in early January when the pressure is off? Paging Maureen Bezold, party planner extrordinaire!
Wishing you all a peaceful and joyous Christmas season.
xoxo,
Mare

Hi everyone...it’s Sat. morn and I haven’t been on this site in quite awhile. Life! It is great to read your messages and know that you are still going back and forth. Maureen I just looked at your pics. Michael was so handsome for his prom. What is he doing now? and the photos from the picnic are nice-I am still sorry I missed that AND seeing you Lisa. A post holiday get together would be really nice, let’s see if I can get my act together to be there.

I am working on Christmas cookies and pastries and hope to be selling some. figures crossed. Hope your Thanksgiving was yummy-haven’t eaten that much in years I think. I am still feeling it!

Have a great weekend-look for that first snow tonight-maybe not too much-we’ll see. Cristian has a soccer game at 9 am! tomorrow in Homedell-wherever that is-let’s pray the temp goes up a bit-ha ha.

Love you all! I’ll try to get on here more often...cheryl

One particular Christmas season a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for his annual trip ... but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule.
Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mom was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where. More stress.

Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys. So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey.

When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hid the liquor and there was nothing to drink. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the coffee pot and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw it was made from. Just then the doorbell rang and Santa cussed on his way to the door.

He opened the door and there was a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas Santa. Isn't it just a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Isn't it just a lovely tree? Where would you like me to stick it?"

Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! =D
