Kevin A. Magnusen

Kevin’s sister-in-law Denise wrote this in response to my inquiry about Kevin:

Kevin passed away in September 1991 after a long bout with leukemia. Kevin and Bob's dad, Bob Magnusen senior, died six weeks after Kevin's death from colon cancer. As you can imagine, it was an incredibly difficult time for the family. On the bright side, six weeks after Mr. Magnusen's death, our daughter Alyssa, Kevin's neice, was born. She will be a junior in high school and we are proud to let you know that she is transferring to Morris Catholic this year! (We also have a son Connor who would remind you of Kevin, tall and lanky, who will be a sophomore at West Morris-couldn't get him to go to Morris Catholic.) So Bob and I will become part of the Morris Catholic community this year as parents and we are truly looking forward to it.

Kevin will be greatly missed. I remember him well because we started first grade together. Denise will write soon with more information.-Cheryl

I recall Kevin's resonant baritone voice, his sharp sense of humor, and his long(!) legs.

He will be missed.

John,
Your are so right on in your recollection of Kevin. After you mentioned his voice, it came to me clear as a bell. I wish I had gotten to know him better. I think I missed out on knowing a really nice person. I know we will be sure to remember him at our reunion.

Mary Ann Cicero Rohn

May 2009 Kevin is looking over the students at Morris Catholic... There is close friendship between our son/Mary Ann Ciceros nephew, Dan Scofield, and Alyssa, Kevin's niece, both closest of friends as Juniors at Morris Catholic. Danny and Alyssa will graduate next year ...Class of 2010.
